Entry Terms

I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive release and discharge the organisers, Agnes Water Longboard Classic officials, other personnel, CWATAR Inc Officials & Members, ASAQ Inc and all other affiliated groups, ASA, Gladstone Regional Council, all sponsors and any other parties from any liability, loss or damage (of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising) incurred whilst travelling to or from, or participating in or being present at the above named event. I understand that all judges, officials and organisers decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. I agree to allow the use of any moving or still pictures of me for the purpose of promotion at the above named event.


The essence of this release is that the Agnes Water Longboard Classic Surf Comps present unknown risks for I freely and voluntarily agree to be solely responsible, in order to enable this event to take place and my participation in it.


OPEN LOGGER SPECIFICATIONS


  • The minimum board length is 9 feet measured from the nose to tail on the deck of the surfboard.

  • The width dimensions are to total a minimum 51 inches in aggregate. This iOPEN LOGGER SPECIFICATIONS

  • The minimum board length is 9 feet measured from the nose to tail on the deck of the surfboard.

  • The width dimensions are to total a minimum 51 inches in aggregate. This is the total of the widest point, plus the width 12 inches up from the tail and the width 12 inches back from the nose.

  • The board will have a single central fin that may be permanently fixed or attached via a fin box. There must be no provision for any other fin configuration.

  • The rails of the surfboard will be 50/50 or 60/40 from nose to tail. The board will have no resin edge from rail to tail.

  • The fin will be at least 8 inches from its mounted base to the highest point

  • The board will weigh a minimum of six (6) kilograms. A provision for attaching a leg rope should be attached/ inserted into the surf board.

  • The use of leg ropes will be determined by the conditions and at contest director’s discretions the total of the widest point, plus the width 12 inches up from the tail and the width 12 inches back from the nose.

  • The board will have a single central fin that may be permanently fixed or attached via a fin box. There must be no provision for any other fin configuration.

It is also noted that all credit card and processing fees for entries are non refundable.
